Finella is proud to be a current member of the Classic Yacht Owners Association of Newport RI and part of the Mystic Seaport Family.
Note the cutaway full keel favored by Ted Brewer to improve handling. This includes a cutaway forefoot and cutaway just before the rudder (the "Brewer Bite"). Turning is made more responsive than a full keel while maintaining amazing stability.
The classic wood steering wheel was painstakingly restored and revarnished. Custom autopilot wheel adaptor was made to accept Raymarine wheelpilot.
The EUD teak cockpit table was adapted to custom built stainless folding supports providing an unusually strong and stable and easy to operate installation.
The companionway has the usual drop boards, with deadbolt lockset. In addition, there are varnished louvered, hinged companionway boards - stylish and classic for use while on board.
